The Wild Blueberry fruit liqueur is made according to the traditional recipe: when we receive them, the fruit is selected and put in a vat with neutral alcohol for at least 5 weeks of maceration. Then, the macerated fruits are
pressed softly and filtered. Sugar and water are added before bottling.
For our liqueurs, Maison Trénel selects the best fruits from the best terroirs. Wild blueberries are chosen for their authenticity and their colorful and very fragrant taste.
Tasting
The Wild Blueberry fruit liqueur has an extremely dark color, which paints the glass like the blackcurrant cream. It has a subtle nose of blueberry jam. Its mouth is supple and ample. It perfectly reminds us of the flavor of the wild fruits. Its tannic structure gives a beautiful balance to this liqueur
How to drink and serve
The Wild Blueberry liqueur will be very pleasant mixed with fresh white wine or a Crémant de Bourgogne.
As a cocktail, you can try yourself at Blueberry Mojito : 6 cl of Blueberry liqueur, 6 cl of Rum 10 mint leaves, 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, lemon juice, sparkling water, and ice cubes.
